Generators can be placed on floors such as soil, building, steel construction, platform. Placing the generator set on concrete base is the most preferred application.
The concrete base must be designed to withstand the weight of the Generator set. The height should be 200-300 mm. The generator installation floor must be able to withstand all-round dynamic strength caused by static weight and plus motor operation.
If there is a possibility of water accumulation from time to time in the selected floor area, the concrete base height should be raised according to the size of the risk.
